'Friend of the Foundation' - Axter partners with Ipswich Town Foundation

At Axter, we believe that being a responsible business means looking beyond our own operations and considering the communities around us.

That is why we are proud to have become a Friend of the Foundation, supporting the Ipswich Town Foundation and its work with young people and vulnerable adults across Suffolk.

For Axter, the partnership represents another opportunity to invest in the county we have called home for more than three decades and contribute to the communities that surround us.

Supporting positive change in Suffolk

The Ipswich Town Foundation is the official charitable arm of Ipswich Town Football Club, delivering programmes designed to make a positive difference to people across the region.

Through its work in areas including education, employability, health and wellbeing, inclusion and physical activity, the Foundation currently engages with more than 9,000 young people and vulnerable adults each week.

The Friend of the Foundation initiative gives local businesses and supporters an opportunity to contribute to this work and help the Foundation continue delivering its programmes across Suffolk.

For Axter, that local connection is particularly important.

We are based in Suffolk and have built strong relationships across the region through our people, customers, partners and community initiatives. Supporting organisations that create opportunities and improve lives locally is a natural extension of that commitment.

Community is part of our sustainability strategy

As a Certified B Corporation, Axter is committed to considering our impact on people, communities and the environment. Our sustainability strategy includes a specific commitment to enriching our communities, recognising that responsible business means contributing positively to the places in which we operate.

This is already reflected in the work we do across Suffolk.

Axter supports a number of community and environmental organisations through our social responsibility programme, including Suffolk Mind, Suffolk Community Foundation and Emmaus Suffolk. We also work with organisations focused on protecting and restoring Suffolk's natural environment.

Becoming a Friend of the Foundation adds another dimension to this work, supporting an organisation that uses the reach and influence of football to engage people and create positive change within the community.

Building stronger connections through Ipswich Town

Our relationship with Ipswich Town has continued to develop over the past year.

In March 2026, Axter became a Regional Partner of Ipswich Town Football Club, reflecting the shared heritage and strong connection both organisations have with Suffolk and the communities we serve.

Becoming a Friend of the Foundation builds on that relationship, giving us another way to support the work taking place beyond the football pitch.

For us, partnerships like this are an opportunity to build meaningful local relationships, understand the challenges facing our communities and contribute where we can.
