Salary: £25-30,000 based on experience

The Role
The Sales and Logistic Coordinator will build good relationships with a group of customer accounts (Axter approved installers), process their sales orders of Axter materials and coordinate deliveries to roofing projects across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders using our in-house software ensuring materials and prices match with quotations, calculating units required based on information provided by the customer or supplier and taking into account site restrictions and delivery requirements, to ensure orders are processed efficiently and accurately by the required deadlines.
- Liaise effectively with customers to identify and manage site restrictions (e.g. vehicles and means of offloading) to ensure works are scheduled and carried out as planned.
- Order materials in a timely and effective manner with the Axter UK stock warehouse and orders for third party materials with Axter’s partner suppliers to ensure works can be carried out as scheduled with customers.
- Liaise and communicate effectively with our warehouse, suppliers and customers to ensure the coordinated delivery of goods to sites across the UK.
- Process delivery notifications with correct delivery charges applied to ensure accurate processing of customer invoices.
- Monitor progress of deliveries and inform customers of delivery times including unexpected delays in meeting their needs to manage their expectations and provide an excellent service.
- Assist with checking and collating order/delivery documentation with supplier invoices and ensuring information is delivered to finance colleagues to meet their reporting deadlines.
- Ensure all colleagues (specifically Axter's Technical Sales Team) are kept up to date on any matters they need to be aware of regarding project sites, orders, deliveries, product supply, etc. to deliver excellent customer service.
- Provide cover for team members during their absence to ensure customer needs are met to the highest standards.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Minimum 5 GCSEs or equivalent to include maths and English
- Basic Microsoft Office 365 skills – Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint
- Experience of working in a customer service role
- Experience of sales order processing and coordinating deliveries
- Experience of CRM databases
