About Neo-Bitumen® Flame Free

Neo-Bitumen waterproofing systems include built-up multi-layer warm roofs and multi and single-layer inverted roofs. They can be combined with living roof, blue roof, solar PV and sustainable roof system finishes and are all installed 100% flame free without the risk of hot works. 

Equally suited to new construction and refurbishment projects, with or without heightened fire safety criteria, Neo-Bitumen waterproofing systems offer a completely flame free specification option and deliver outstanding durability, high flexibility and workability in the toughest conditions.

Engineered for fully bonded installation without requirement for gas torches, Neo-Bitumen Flame-Free polymer modified bitumen binders are highly elastic and provide outstanding bond strength to concrete slabs, metal and timber roof decks. Axter Flame-Free waterproofing systems are installed by an accredited installer that has successfully completed Axter's Flame-Free system upskilling course.

Long term 20 to 25 year Axter insured system guarantees are offered with Neo-Bitumen systems. These indemnify the building owner’s liability in the unlikely event of failure arising from material, design and workmanship. Additional independent insurance backed insolvency protection for Axter's materials, and the workmanship of the accredited roofing contractor, is also available for 10 years in respect to Platinum Guarantees.

Neo-Bitumen waterproofing systems have all achieved independent BBA Agrément Certification, are certified Broof(t4) in accordance with BS EN 13501-5: 2005 and have a durability and service life expectancy in excess of 50 years (BS 8217:2005).

Force Line Neo-Bitumen Flame Free Warm Roof Multi Layer

Utilising Axter's unique Neo-Bitumen technology this durable self adhesive, flame free system, provides the hard wearing characteristics of Force Line 4.0 capsheet but with a self adhesive underlayer and capsheet, making this a flame free system Installed by Axter Alliance (AAi) installers and achieves a 20 year insured system warranty.
